The Nairn Guest Room
As the original master bedroom of Casa
del Gavilan, the Nairn Room is our largest guest room and is
richly decorated with original paintings, antique prints, and a bronze
sculpture by Frederick Remington. The Nairn Room is furnished with one
king bed and a couch that folds out to a queen bed. It has a private
bath with elegant, antique fixtures and a shower. Three windows from
this guest room face toward the courtyard, the Sangre de Cristo
mountains to the west, and the "Tooth of Time" ridge to the north. The
Nairn Room represents our finest accommodations and the most solitude.
Rate including full breakfast is $115 per night plus tax for two guests.
The Beaubien Guest Room
The Beaubien Room is
situated across a small hallway from the Nairn Room. This cozy room is
furnished with one queen bed and a private bath with shower. The window
opens to the courtyard. Rate including full breakfast is $85 per
night plus tax for two guests.
The Webster Guest Room
The Webster Room offers a queen bed with a small nook off the main bedroom containing one twin bed (there is no door between the main bedroom and this additional room). This extra room is perfect for a child or travel companion who desires a bit of privacy. The Webster Room also has a private bath with a shower. Two windows open toward the courtyard and the "Tooth of Time" ridge to the north. Rate including full breakfast is $95 per night plus tax for two guests.
The Phillips Guest Room
Jack Nairn's favorite room and the one in which he resided during his later days at his beloved Casa del Gavilan, the Phillips Room is a moderately sized room full of Western character. It has a queen bed and is our only guest room with a fireplace--perfect to take the chill off those cold winter nights or to add a bit of ambiance to your get-away weekend. The Phillips Room has a private bath and shower with antique fixtures. Two windows open to the courtyard and the "Tooth of Time" ridge. Rate including full breakfast is $105 per night plus tax for two guests.

Situated across the
courtyard from the main house, the guest house was originally the
housekeepers' quarters of Casa del Gavilan. While the guest house does
not have the "vigas" contained in the remainder of the Casa, it offers
more privacy and room for a family to spread out without being too far
apart. Numerous windows make the guest house the brightest of all our
guest rooms. The two rooms of this suite adjoin through a shared bath
with a shower. Ideal for families or small groups, the Miranda room has
two twin beds while the Maxwell room has one queen bed. Rate including
full breakfast is $145 per night plus tax for four guests.

information for our guests:
* Rate shown is for
four guests. For guests over this number, there is an additional
nightly charge of $20 for adults and $10 for children ages 5-10. There
is no extra charge for children under 5 years old.
* Fold-out beds are available for most guest rooms. Please ask our
innkeepers for availability.
* Rates subject to change without notice.
* Due to the historic nature of Casa del Gavilan, smoking is strictly
prohibited inside the buildings. Smoking is permitted outside.
* Due to guests' allergies, pets are not permitted at Casa del
Gavilan.
* Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m.
* Changes or cancellations to reservations must be made at
least seven days prior to scheduled arrival to avoid cancellation
charge.
